Where Do I Belong?

I Cry, but nobody seems to hear
I try, but nobody seems to care
Moved from the Bronx to Brooklyn, White Plains and then to Queens
Made some friends and I've lost a few in all the places I have been oh

Where do I belong?
Somebody tell me where do I belong?
Every time I think I've found  my final destination
It breaks me down and I'm left without any explanation
It's gone, gone, gone... where do I belong?

The lights, burned so bright in Hollywood
The lies, kept me think'n that I could
Played all my songs in Venice, with my second-hand guitar
Think'n they'd discover me and put my name inside a star

Where do I belong?
Somebody tell me where do I belong?
Every time I think I've found my final destination
It breaks me down and I'm left without any explanation
It's gone, gone, gone... where do I belong?

Three thousand miles on a search for happiness
And all I've learned is, it doesn't have an address
Could it be I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be?
That the journey is my one and only destiny?

Where do I belong?
Somebody tell me where do I belong?
Every time I think I've found my final destination
It breaks me down and I'm left without any explanation
It's gone, gone, gone... where do I belong?
